We do more than just chlorine gas dosing! Gain further insights
NH3 (ammonia gas)
Ammonia gas is used, for example, to disinfect water to produce the disinfectant monochloramine. For this purpose, ammonia gas is added to the water to be treated after the addition of chlorine gas.
Application areas:
Agriculture and animal husbandry, the production of fertilizers and urea
The production of chemicals and pharmaceuticals
The production of pulp and paper
CO2 (carbon dioxide)
Carbon dioxide is used primarily in the water and wastewater industry to control pH levels because it forms carbonic acid when dissolved in water. The carbonic acid then reacts with the alkalis contained in the water, thereby lowering the pH value.
Application areas:
pH value regulation in water
Food and beverage industry
Steel and metal processing
SO2 (sulphur dioxide)
Sulphur dioxide has numerous applications, but one of its principal uses is for dechlorination in the water and wastewater industry.
Application areas:
A preservative in the food industry
