Electrolysis systems

Our electrolysis systems, including specialised sodium hypochlorite systems and chlorine electrolysis systems, use advanced technologies to perform safe and efficient water treatment. In contrast to conventional systems, they enable on-site production to meet demand and thus avoid the handling of hazardous chemicals.

Sodium hypochlorite systems

Sodium hypochlorite systems generate sodium hypochlorite via an electrolysis process using salt as the base material. The system automatically extracts a saturated salt solution from the salt solution tank, which is then diluted with softened water to the optimum concentration for efficient electrolysis. The diluted salt is transported to the electrolytic cell automatically, where an electric current flows through the solution, producing sodium hypochlorite. The automatic process cycle is repeated until the product tank is full.

MINICHLORGEN

A reliable electrolysis system for the production of sodium hypochlorite

MINICHLORGEN electrolysis systems provide a needs-based supply of <1.0 % sodium hypochlorite solution, which is produced by the electrolysis of a diluted brine solution. Generated in close proximity to the process, the direct storage and dosing of sodium hypochlorite rules out accidental spillage of the sodium hypochlorite and contract with the operating personnel.

  • MINICHLORGEN versions are available with chlorine capacities of 30, 60, and 90 g/h
  • robust and attractive plastic cover
  • coloured LED illumination of the electrolysis chamber shows the chlorine production process and displays the current operating status via a simple LED colour change
  • user-friendly membrane keyboard, multilingual operating panel, and OLED display with green, orange, and red LED operating status display
  • Operating parameters display and code-protected programming
  • Alarm event log with real-time recording
  • Volume flow measurement of water and brine for electrolysis with constantly high efficiency
  • safe operation by ambient air monitoring with a hydrogen detector
  • Remote transmission of fault messages, data logging, and RS485 options
  • MINICHLORGEN is supplied with fixing material for wall mounting, product tank level monitoring, and a brine priming device

EASYCHLORGEN

An innovative electrolysis system for the efficient and safe production of chlorine bleach

EASYCHLORGEN sodium hypochlorite systems produce sodium hypochlorite from brine by electrolysis. The sodium hypochlorite has a concentration of approx. 0.5 – 0.8 %.

The production, storage and dosing of chlorine bleach directly on site minimises the risk of accidental release and prevents employees from coming into contact with it.

  • Production of <1% sodium hypochlorite via the local electrolysis of brine
  • safe and completely sealed electrolysis procedure
  • easy to operate
  • integrated control with OLED screen and simple 3-button operation
  • Manual and automatic operation
  • multilingual operating display option
  • Telemetry alarm event & data logging option
  • Performance classes from 240 g/h – 8.5 kg/h sodium hypochlorite available

Advantages

  • eliminate delivery & handling of hazardous chemicals
  • use of salt as a precursor
  • demand-orientated production on site
  • no outgassing in dosing pumps
  • no encrustation on dosing points
  • particularly labour protection-friendly for the operator

Flow-trough chlorine electrolysis system TECHNOMAT PS

Water disinfection in private swimming pools

TECHNOMAT provides a high-quality and innovative method of disinfection using electrolysis for medium-sized swimming pools. TECHNOMAT disinfects swimming and wading pool water without the need to store and use the hazardous substances chlorine gas, chlorine bleach or chlorine tablets. The chlorine required for disinfection is first generated on site in the swimming and wading pool water from ordinary NaCl salt (cooking salt, sea salt, sodium chloride) in an entirely safe fashion, bringing a pleasant side effect: salty water.

Salt water has a revitalising effect, is gentle to the skin and relaxing. It promises a quality of life that you can enjoy every day with the flow-through chlorine electrolysis systems from Technopool. The systems work in accordance with the SALT-WATER-LIGHT® procedure, which has been proven internationally in private applications, hotel units, therapy pools and publicly and privately-operated indoor and outdoor swimming pools.

The specific features of TECHNOMAT PS

  • compact design, installation in very small spaces
  • for pool volume of max. 75 m³
  • Safety transformer with thermofuse
  • Primary and secondary protection by mains and overload protector
  • insensitive to current fluctuations

Flow-trough chlorine electrolysis system TECHNOSTAR

Effective solutions for water disinfection in public swimming facilities

The generation of hypochlorous acid takes place in an electrolytic cell installed in a bypass of the supply water pipe. It is controlled via a measurement and control system, which has a continuous controller output with a PI control response of 4 to 20 mA. Each electrolytic cell in the electrolytic systems TECHNOSTAR can be equipped with a temperature sensor for temperature control.

  • practice-tested and proven
  • Conforms to DIN 19643
  • no chlorine gas room and its safety requirements
  • self-cleaning function, usually no acidification required
  • high-quality electrode material (titanium)
  • swimming pool water that is gentle to the skin
  • no typical chlorine smell in the swimming pool
