Vacuum changeover unit
Permanent gas supply
Hazardous gases are normally conveyed in piping systems with negative pressure. The use of at least two gas containers is a precondition for a continuous gas supply. Once the first gas container is empty, the CVS vacuum changeover switch automatically switches to the second gas container. It thus enables an uninterrupted supply.
Features & Benefits
- Scope of application up to 10 kg/h chlorine gas
- Compact design
- Safe operation due to vacuum technology
- Without auxiliary power
- Without intervention from personnel
- Simple wall mounting
- Optical position indicator
- Optional electrical contacts for remote indication
Switching between two chlorine gas sources under negative pressure
The type C 7522 changeover unit ensures an uninterrupted chlorine supply. It was designed for use in vacuum chlorinators in accordance with DIN 19606. It consists of two independent, electric motor ball valves, a contact pressure gauge and an electronic control unit.
Features & Benefits
- Flow rate with chlorine gas up to 100 kg/h
- Residue discharge
- Burst mode
- Manual operation
- Empty notification
- Fault reporting
Continuous gas supply
Chlorine gas dosing systems in a water treatment system must be permanently ready for operation so that the water can be sufficiently disinfected at any point. This explains the fitting of the systems with two supply batteries - one side in operation, the other on stand-by. The vacuum chlorine changeover valve effects automatic switching between the two cylinders or drum batteries. The device is suitable for full vacuum systems
Features & Benefits
- Capacity stages from 4 kg/h up to 80 kg/h
- Residue discharge
- Control with indication of operation
- 5 relays for remote signalling
- Manual changeover via key press
