Suction pulsation damper S

Avoidance of pressure fluctuations at high pressures

Dosing pumps are oscillating displacement pumps which generate a pulsing flow thanks to their design. These pulsations can produce high pressure peaks. Through these pressure peaks, the equipment pipelines can be overstressed and may even break in the worst scenario. Pulsation dampeners are used to prevent this stress. Also certain processes which required dosing with small pulsation benefit from the use of pulsation dampeners. The suction pulsation damper is installed on the suction side of a dosing pump. It damps acceleration mass forces, thereby working effectively to reduce wear on the dosing pump.
