Siphon containers and vacuum pumps

Auxiliary equipment with the chemical supply

We recommend the connection of a gas bubble collection tank with a large nominal width at the highest point of the suction line to ensure that siphoning is performed on the suction side and that a positive pressure is applied to the suction valve of the pump. As long as there is liquid in this siphon container, all gas bubbles from the suction line will collect here at the highest point, and the pump will be in the ‘inlet’ state. The liquid level in the siphon container can be checked either manually or automatically.

  • For improving the priming behaviour of dosing pumps
  • Simplifying the commissioning of dosing pumps
  • Additionally as a pulsation damper in the suction-side installation
  • Separation of gas bubbles in front of the dosing pump
  • Manual vacuum pump for removing the air from the siphon container
