Emergency chlorination must comply with all health and safety regulations and approved technical standards. Other criteria include rapid availability, storage stability and, of course, cost. Our SAFETYCHLORMIX dosing station fulfils these requirements as specified in DIN EN 900 and is ideally suitable for the disinfection of systems and tanks and the emergency chlorination of drinking water.
Water suppliers and the owners of water distribution systems rely on an uninterrupted water supply with flawless drinking water that meets the requirements of the Drinking Water Ordinance. Our dosing station disinfects systems and tanks. If necessary, it can also be used to perform the emergency chlorination of drinking water at various locations. Should permanent disinfection not be performed, emergency chlorination systems must be available for these systems and procedures. These systems should be mobile and deployable at other locations as required. It is particularly important that a fresh disinfectant solution or a storage-stable disinfectant such as calcium hypochlorite is used.
Normally, calcium hypochlorite is dosed as a solution in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 900 (CHC) after the granules or tablets have been dissolved. Our dosing station enables direct dosing from the delivery package and requires no manual handling.
Our SAFETYCHLORMIX dosing station is a pre-assembled unit that enables easy installation. It consists of various components such as a pump bracket, a collecting pan, a suction line with an air mixer and a special dosing pump. Dosing is performed using a Magdos LDp dosing pump, which ensures continuous turbulence and a homogeneous solution.
The use of UN-approved delivery packages eliminates the risk of chemical contact or leaks. The delivery package is connected directly to the dosing station and filled with water.
Our dosing station constitutes a safe and efficient method of dosing calcium hypochlorite and fulfils all the necessary standards for the disinfection of drinking water systems.
