Heating plants with heavy fuel oil boilers must reduce emissions to protect the environment. Just the right amount of additives are dosed to the burners via a control signal from online measurements to keep the emission values within legal limits and thus minimise them. This is achieved with the aid of dosing pumps, which dose the additives from the supply tanks in a controlled fashion.
A ring circuit fed by upstream dosing pumps maintains the optimal function of the solenoid dosing pumps on the boilers. The dosing of the additives is controlled in accordance with the burner load and transmitted to the Jesco dosing pumps via a 4...20 mA analogue signal. The installation of pulsation dampeners as dosing pump accessories ensures smooth and consistent dosing, which contributes to the longevity of the system.
