Electrolysis – a modern solution

To the products

EASYCHLORGEN chlorine electrolysis is back in fashion. This procedure produces chlorine solution directly on site in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 17818. It uses salt, water and electrical energy to produce a disinfectant solution with less than 1% sodium hypochlorite. This solution is used to safely disinfect swimming pool water, drinking water and industrial water, thereby eliminating the need to transport hazardous substances.

EASYCHLORGEN is a system for the on-site production of active chlorine – a biocidal active agent – from sodium chloride through electrolysis. The Biocidal Products Regulation specifies that only those precursors may be used in the European Union that meet the quality requirements of the relevant DIN EN standard and which are supplied by a listed manufacturer or supplier in accordance with Article 95 of the Biocidal Products Regulation.

Electrolysis systems from Lutz-Jesco are characterised by their simple and robust mode of operation. Special procedures minimise the formation of chlorite and chlorate, which means that the requirements of DIN 19643-1 can be met safely.

ChlorStop
The purpose of the ChlorStop pressure safety shut-off valve is to interrupt the chlorine gas supply or the chlorine gas outlet directly from a chlorine tank immediately after a chlorine alarm or the detection of excess pressure (e.g. by the PLUS safety blow-off valve). ChlorStop is mounted directly on the tank valve. An electromagnet closes the valve within a very short time. This ensures a high level of safety and prevents further chlorine gas leaks. Features & advantages Interruption of the chlorine gas supply directly from a chlorine tank valve Shortest closing time due to electromagnets Direct connection e.g. possible for a chlorine vacuum regulator Suitable for gaseous chlorine Optional control unit for simultaneous closing of up to 12 valves Simple commissioning Simple and space-saving installation Low maintenance effort for chlorine gas in accordance with DIN EN 15363 and 937
